Right of relief
In France with the Middle Ages and under the Old Mode, the relief , is a right seigneurial on the noble changes of properties or commoners.
The right of relief must be paid to the lord dominating if the change is not due to a succession in hot line or a sale. The amount represented one year of income of the good.
The Acapte is due in the event of succession in hot line.
