Riedseltz

Riedseltz is a common French, located in the department of the the Low-Rhine and the area Alsace.

Geography

Riedseltz ( German Riedselz in ) is a village located at the Northern of the department of the the Low-Rhine. Riedseltz is crossed by the Haussauerbach river.

History

The oldest hard copy of the village goes back to 1259.

Old Stronghold of the knights of the order teutonic, their commandery was the castle of Wasserburg, today quasi-destroys (there remains about it only one section of wall bored of a meutrière).

The church of the commune, going back itself to 1760, contains a Orgue Stiehr classified historic building.
