Rictor

Rictor is a Super-héros pertaining to the universe of Marvel Comics, appeared for the first time in X-Factor (vol.1) #17

Origin

Child, Julio Estiban Richter (but called Ric) saw his father, a Mexican trafficker of weapons, to be made kill by an unknown (Stryfe). He was used by an organization wishing to make use of his capacity, then released by Factor-X, of which he became a young recruit.

He joined very quickly the Nouveaux Mutants, and faced Caliban tranformé in Rider, and Dents of Saber. This last wounded it seriously, but the arrival of Cable prevented it from killing it.

With Félina, Rictor was thereafter made prisoner on the island of Génosha, of which it became Mutant the #2347. The combined efforts of the X-Men, the New Mutants and Factor-X reflect fine with slavery and made fall the government. Released, Rictor left the New Mutants, thinking more and more that the man who had killed his father years ago was Cable.

He was contacted by the Canadian government and integrated Weapon Prime, whose objective was the arrest of Cable. But their mission was prevented by the New mutants, become X-Force.

It joined X-Force, just in time to be imprisoned with the team, whereas Cable was shown of attempted murder on the person of the Professor Xavier. It was acted in fact of Stryfe.

Rictor left its life X-To force when his/her uncle and his cousin were killed at the time of a sale of weapons. But it returned to support his friend Shatterstar. The two young men travelled to Mexico to regulate the businesses of the Richter family.

He was recalled by Professor Xavier to become agent of the X-Corporation. He faced Weapon XII, and its coéquipière Darkstar was killed.

Recently, one re-examined it in the middle of Mutant Town, without capacities and ready to commit suicide. But it was saved by Factor-X Investigations, and was formed part from now on agency.

  • Rictor does not have to be able any more. It could cause seisms.
