Rico Gear

Rico GEAR , born the February 26th 1978 with Gisborne, is a player of Rugby New Zealand, evolving/moving at the station of winger. He measures 1,81 m for 94 kg. He will evolve/move in the English club of Worcester at the time of the season 2007-08.

Maori of origin, it carries out a great season 2005 into Super 12 with the Canterbury Crusaders, equalizing with 15 tests the record in one season of the Australian Joe Roff. This success leads the selector of the Blacks Graham Henry to choose it like holder at the time of the round of the Lions 2005, in spite of frightening competition at the station of winger of Joe Rokocoko, Sivivatu or Doug Howlett.
