Richard Todd
Richard Todd (of his complete name Richard Andrew Palethorpe-Todd ) is a Acteur Britannique, born the June 11th 1919 with Dublin (Ireland).
Biography
His/her father, Andrew William Palethorpe-Todd, were an officer of the British army and a player of Rugby celebrates defending the colors of Ireland. Very young person, Richard left Dublin for Devon (England) to enter to the school of Shrewsbury. At the beginning of its career, he played in regional theaters before founding his own company in 1939;During the second world war, Richard Todd was officer parachutist in the sixth British airborne division. He was one of the first British officers to be posed in Normandy at the D-day, joining Major John Howard with the bridge of PEGASE. He will appear later in two films in which this scene is told: D-Day the Sixth off June (1956) and the longest Day (1962).
It was married twice: with the actress Catherine Grant-Bogle (1949-1970, two children), and with Virginia To net (1970-1992, two children).
