Richard Temple
Sir Richard Temple is a British senior official (1826 - March 15th 1902) who made his studies with the Rugby and in Hailesbury College before entering within the diplomacy to the the British Indies in 1848. After having held several posts of administrators, he was successively Minister for Finance in the Indies (1868), general governor of the Bengal in 1874, then lieutenant-governor of Bombay of 1877 to 1880. Going back to London, he was also appointed with the House of Commons of 1885 to 1895. Large traveller, it will publish many works on his forwardings or India just as on his experiments of public administrator. Richard Temple became member of the Royal Society the March 12th 1896.
