Richard Sainct

Richard Sainct (born the April 14th 1970 with Saint-Affrique in the Aveyron, deceased the September 29th 2004 in Egypt) was a pilot of motor bike French.

Sainct begin with the motor bike cross-country race and quickly takes down the championship of France of Enduro in 1989. In the 20 years age, it takes part in the Rallye of the Atlas. It made there beginnings noticed on the African grounds. The following year, in 1991, it carries out its first Rallye Paris-Dakar. Not finding a sponsor, it returns on Paris Dakar only in 1995. It is then professional. It gains the Rallye Paris-Dakar by three times: in 1999 and 2000 with BMW and in 2003 on a KTM.

Richard Sainct dies in an accident the September 29th 2004 during the Rallye of the Pharaons in Egypt. Fallen in the special 1e from the 4th stage, it is helped by helicopter but it dies on its arrival at the hospital of countryside.
