Richard Robert Ernst , born the August 14th 1933 with Winterthour, is a Chimiste Suisse.
Ernst received the Nobel Prize of chemistry in 1991, for its contribution in the development of the multidimensional spectroscopy by nuclear Magnetic resonance, whereas it was employed of Varian Associates, to Palo Alto in California.
Ernst studied with the federal Polytechnic school of Zurich (Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule, Zurich) and it is there now physical professor of Chimie. In this establishment, he collaborated in work of the professor Kurt Wüthrich on nuclear magnetic resonance.
