Richard Vieille is a Clarinettiste French. He occupies the station of Clarinette solo of the orchestral Ensemble of Paris.

Biography

Born with Besancon, it is in this city considered for its festival of music and its International Contest of young leaders, that Richard Vieille begins his musical studies. With the Higher National Academy of Music of Paris, it obtains then its first prices of clarinet in the class of Ulysses Delécluse, and of chamber music in that of Christian Larde.

With this Master, it follows the 3rd cycle of chamber music within the wind quintet Paul Taffanel and obtains with this unit the 1st price of the International Contest of Colmar, then the 1st Price of the Contest and the Special price “Grip of Gold” of International Musical Youths in Belgrade.

It then gives with this whole in many concerts in all the Europe and to the the United States and records for the radio and the disc.

Parallel to this activity of chamber music, it is successively received with the Music of the Republican guard, then soloist with the New Philharmonic orchestra of Radio-France.

Lastly, in 1978, they is had a presentiment of to become clarinet solo of the Orchestral Whole of Paris founded by Jean-Pierre Wallez.

He teaches since his creation with the Higher Academy of Paris-CNR. He is also professor of the International Academies of Summer of Flaine and Nice.

In 2001, it records under the direction of Armin Jordan the concerto for Clarinette and the Quintet of Mozart with the collaboration of the Quatuor Parisii.
