Richard Müller is a singer, musician and innovator of the electronic pop music Slovak.

Biography

Richard Müller was born on September 6th, 1961 with Hlohovec as Slovakia. It was born in a family from actors, these parents and in particular his father Vladimir Müller (a " légende" as Slovakia) were actors of foreground.

Richard Müller is promoted in 1985, with the Faculty of film, (dramaturgy and scenario writer) of University (VŠVU) of Bratislava. It publishes, during its studies, of the newspapers like: " Populaire" and " stores it; Gramorevue" , then he works as journalist for the heading music. For its first recording " Radio" , he sings with the " group; Burčiak" of the chief Pavel Daněk. This song will be a fantastic success in the " hit parade 5xP" television. Then, in 1984 Richard Müller founds with Martin Karvaš his own " group; Banket" (Banquet). They will carry out their first album " Bioélectrovision" in 1986, where Richard Müller sings an immortal tube " Po schodoch (In the staircase) of the author type-setter Vašo Patejdl. It passes the first public contest of the song for the price " Quadrant of Bratislava" in 1984 with the song " Nespoznaný" (Not identified). This same year, it carries out its obligatory military service with the military unit artistic Slovaque. In 1986 also, Richard Müller meets Andrei Šeban and they carry out the album " Druhá doba" (Second age) in 1988 and then, the album " will follow; Vpred" (Before), also with Andrei Šeban, in 1990. In 1989 it obtains the Lyre price of gold of Bratislava. In 1990, Richard Müller begins his career in solo and it makes fury with " mega hits Czech - slovaques" , and, the Slovak one, sings to him in Czech! Paradox of the situation of the two new countries! And " Šťěstí I krásna věc (fortune is a beautiful thing) Czech authors Petr Hapka and Michel Horáček of it will be the first méga hits. Richard Müller , he will be the first Slovak singer to obtain the Czech price Supraphon " Iridescent disc 1989" , with this song. Its first album solo " Neuč vtáka lietať (You do not learn how to fly to the bird) in 1992 and album " 33" in 1994, Richard Müller cooperates with Heinrich Leško (instrumentalist, type-setter, arranger), but also with the type-setter and lyric writer Jaro Filip, who for several years has been his producer and it creates also three albums of which " L.S.D." in 1996, " Nočná optika (Optical night) in 1998 and the album " Koniec sveta (end of the world) in 1999, and this same year, it is the exit of its first album in concert live " Müllenium Live". In 2000, it is the edition of the album " tchèque" , " Richard Müller has hosté" (Richard Müller and guests) with texts of the author Michel Horáček. In 2001, it is the edition of the album " 01" where Richard Müller cooperates with, like associate, the producer Ivan Tásler of group I.M.T. Smille. Album " 01" will receive much price (album, text…). In 2002, Richard Müller carries out a round in concerts in Tchéquie and Slovakia, then it carries out compilation CD " Rétro" in 2002, and 2003 it is the famous méga concert " ´03 Tour". Richard Müller during his stay, of 2002 in 2003, New York is made known American musicians and with them, it records its first album " Monogamný vzťah" (Connection monogamist) in the studio Monster Island of New York (edition in 2004), and then, it is the album " 44" where Richard Müller cooperates with American musicians universally known like the beater Omar Hakim, the low guitarists Anthony Jackson and Will Lee, and the guitarist Hiram Bullock. This year also, it records double CD " Čo bolo, to bolo" (What it was, it was) and the album CD " V.V." in the USA, with musicians of New York City in the studio of Monster Island: Tom Beckham (with the percussions), Ben " bennyChaCha" Rubin (with the vibraphone), with the low guitar John Bollinger and the guitarist Mike Caffrey. Richard Muller writes for the first time of the " texts politiques" as in the song " Kto by chcel" (Which wanted…) where he openly testifies his current vision to the political scene.

Richard Müller composes of the film scenarios of television for " Dirigent" - " Chief of orchestre" and of the scenarios of musical programs of television and obviously he works for some scenarios and is the realizer of his personal programs in concerts. He played in some television programs for STV, and he is also the organizer of the show " MISS slovaque" and " the town of Trenčín - the city of the mode". He works as presenter for stores musical " OK POP" Czech Television. Richard Müller will also cooperate as type-setters in, in particular, of the film music and the setting in scene of the film (" Kúpeľnový hráč" , 1988) and in 1991, with Andrei Šeban and the lyric writer Kamil Peteraj, they work for the text of Berthold Brecht " musical Baal". In 1996, he cooperates with Leško and sings in solo for the " Malý princ" (Small prince) according to Saint e.g. moreover, Richard Müller creates his personal program with radio operator Fun and for radio operator Twist and its talk show " Müllerád" in 1999 for TV Luna, and finally, its television program " Promülle" in the year 2001 for the Slovak TV. It turns a great number of video clips, in particular the video clip " Ram with the voile" turned in New York (these clips received the price of the international contest of video clips). Richard Müller announces officially the end of its career (by an advertisement on December 3rd, 2006 at TASR, the Slovak news agency), but in 2007, it finishes a project in.liaison.with American musicians and the songs of regretted Jaro Filip and a project with comic Milan Lasica. It also realizes, " it makes its adieux" , at the time of the concert turn as Slovakia. The singer Richard Müller at 45 years obtains finally the recognition, like his father, Vlado Müller, of actor known as Slovakia. Richard Müller became a Slovak legend.
