Richard Di Rosa

Richard Di Rosa born in 1963 with Sète is a Sculpteur French. He was with his brother Herve Di Rosa, Remi Blanchard, François Boisrond and Robert Combas one of the principal craftsmen of the French movement of the Free Figuration, revival of painting in the Années 1980, a décomplexée painting often borrowing from the data base, the rock'n'roll and the Graffiti. He is the only member of the movement to have chosen the sculpture.

So with the whole beginning of his career this autodidact of art has Miss his vision particular to that of his brother, it very quickly created a universe with share. The color, the round and décomplexées shapes of its characters testify to an esthetic proximity with Joan Miró or max Ernst. The African culture, the music and the animals (its famous hens in particular) are as many topics of inspiration for the artist.

Exposed to the United States as of 1983, it continues an international career.
