Richard Campagna
Richard V. Campagna was the candidate with the vice-presidency of the American Parti libertarien for the presidential election 2004. It formed the ticket party libertarien with Michael Badnarik.
Biography
It was born with New York and is graduate Brown university, of Columbia University. It obtained a Ph.D of American College off Metaphysical Theology. He worked initially for the Motion Picture Association with Jack Valenti. He exerted many trades during his career: lawyer, interprets, psychological, professor and briefly tour operator. He resides from now on in Iowa and works as consultant, lawyer and businessman. It is a burning defender of the existentialism. Married to a vénezuelienne, he is father of a boy. Polyglot, it usually speaks 6 languages.
Political career
Campagna is member of the Parti libertarien In 2002 he is presented as deputy for Clyde Cleveland for the election of the governor of Iowa. They finish in 4th position with 13.098 votes is 1,3%.
He declares candidate for the nomination of the Parti libertarien at mid the 2003 (he is the first to be declared). He beats as of the first turn his rival of Missouri Tamara Millay at national convention of 2004.
In 2004 it contributed to the presidential election with Michael Badnarik. They had been elected at national convention libertarienne which was held from May 27th to 31st 2004 with Atlanta, Georgia. The ticket libertarien finished 4th with more than 400.000 votes (0,34% of the votes cast) but no Great Elector.
