Richard Mr. Burr (born the November 30th 1955) is an American politician, republican senator of North Carolina to the Sénat of the United States since 2005 and former deputy with the Chambre of the Representatives of the United States between 1994 and 2004.
Burr is a former businessman established in Winston-Salem.
In November 2004, Richard Burr gains the seat of American senator of vacant North Carolina left by the democratic John Edwards, candidate with the vice-presidency of the United States.
Burr carried it with 52% of the voices against the democrat Erskine Bowles and the libertarien Tom Bailey.
