Richard Burns
Richard Burns was a pilot of rally English, born the January 17th 1971 with Reading and deceased the November 25th 2005. It makes its beginnings in rally in 1988 and finishes twice in the second place of the championship of the world (in 1999 and 2000) before gaining the title in 2001. With the Scottish Hake McRae, it is the pilot British to have only gained this title.
Victim of a brain tumor, it was constrained to off stop its career following a fainding at the time of the Wales Rally Great Britain 2003. It is at this time that its disease was diagnosed. It was then at the head championship of the world, thanks to its regularity, although not having gained any race at the wheel of its Peugeot 206 WRC.
