Richard Boyle
Richard Boyle (London, April 25th 1694 - December 15th 1753), 3rd Count de Burlington and 4th Count de Cork, also called Lord Burlington was a neo-classic Architecte English.
Biography
Exit of a family of the English Aristocracy, Burlington will make like all the architects of its time, a didactic voyage in Italy until 1719 primarily being used with the study of works as Andrea Palladio. On its return he writes many treaties of architecture. Its most known realization is the Chiswick House (realized in 1726), where it takes as a starting point the Villa Rotonda, surrounded by one of the first gardens to English realized by William Kent which also dealt with the interior organization.
