Richard Anthony Parker
Richard Anthony Parker is a North-American Egyptologist (born with Chicago the December 10th 1905, deceased the June 3rd 1993).
He worked much on the calendars of the ancient Egypt. According to him, two calendars would have coexisted:
-
the 365 day old calendar and which he baptizes civil calendar. It would have been intended for the only administrative needs and would have been introduced with before our era.
-
a lunar calendar, quite former, whose existence would have continued even during the presence of the civil calendar. Its vocation would have been so agricultural nun but.
