Riccardo Licata
Riccardo Licata (born the December 20th 1929 with Turin -) is a painter, sculptor and engraver Italy N, living and working in France.
Biography
After a short Parisian bracket, its family transfers itself to Rome where it remains until 1945. From 1946, Licata lives with Venice.
Studies with the artistic College and the School of the Art schools of Venice (1947-1955).

1951 : Its first personal exposure is held in Venice.
- 1955 : Grant of the French government to study engraving in Paris with Friedlaender, Hayter and Goetz.
- 1957 : Assistant of Gino Severini at the School of Italian art of Paris.
- 1961 : He marries Maria Battistella, singer and enquiring in musics of the Rebirth, of which he will have the following year his Giovanni son.
- 1961 - 1995: Professor foreman of mosaic at the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the Art schools of Paris.
- 1969: Professor of Visual arts in the Sorbonne, engraving to the Academy Goetz (Paris).
- 1972 - 1992: Professor at the International School of the experimental engraving of Venice and at the American School of Architecture of Fontainebleau.
Riccardo Licata invented its personal plastic alphabet which it declined in paintings, tapestries, engravings, sculptures.
Personal exposures
More than 300 in 35 various countries. From 1952, Riccardo Licata exposed to the Biennale de Venise, with Biennial of São Paulo with the Brésil, of Tokyo, of Paris, of Ljubljana, Alexandria in Egypt and with Four-year of Rome, the Triennial ones of Milan, just like in the principal Parisian Living rooms.
