Ricardo Oliveira

Ricardo Oliveira is a Brazilian footballer born the May 6th 1980 with São Paulo (Brésil). He plays station of attacker to the Milan AC and in team of Brazil.

Biography

Portuguesa

Oliveira begins its career with Portuguesa, registering 23 goals in 46 matches before being transferred to the Santos Futebol Clube.

Santos

Oliveira registers 4 goals of 14 matches of championship lasting its short stay with Santos, before being transferré with the Valence CF. In all, Oliveira plays 34 matches for Santos, registering 22 goals, the majority in Copa Libertadores.

Valence

Under the orders of Rafael Benítez, Oliveira registers 8 goals in 21 matches of championship, in particular signing a fantastic increase of ground vis-a-vis Barcelona. Gaining the Cut of the UEFA and the Championship of Spain, it is transferred at the end of the season to the Betis Seville.

Betis Seville

In Betis Seville, it registers 22 goals in 37 matches of championship. It gains the Coupe of Spain (Copa del Rey) by registering a goal at the time of the finale vis-a-vis Osasuna. Oliveira registered vis-a-vis Anderlecht its first goal in league of the champions. Two others will be followed from there, including one superb vis-a-vis the ACE Monaco.

Because of a wound, the Brazilian striker makes only 9 nine appearances the following season in championship. This does not prevent it from marking four times all the same.

São Paulo

Because of its wound, Oliveira is lent in 2006 to São Paulo, to try to gain a place in the team which will play the World cup. But a time of recovery longer than envisaged makes that it is not retained by the selector Carlos Alberto Parreira for the World cup which is held in Germany.

Oliveira turns over to Betis Seville 9 days that envisaged later. The delay comes from a match which was shifted by CONMEBOL, namely the final of the Copa Libertadores that the player wishes to dispute. Oliveira tries to have an arrangement with Seville to be able to dispute the meeting, but the Spanish club refuses. Oliveira cannot thus play this final which would have constituted the most important match of its career.

Milan AC

Oliveira signs with the Milan AC the August 31st 2006, that is to say the very last day of the period of the transfers. Actually, Oliveira already agree to join the Rossoneri before almost a week, but the player came into contact with Milan without obtaining an prior approval on behalf of Betis. Moreover, the president of Betis, Manual Ruiz de Lopera, is not agreement on the price to be paid by Milan. The original price of the player is of 10 million euros, the final amount obtained by Betis reaches the 15 million euros plus a player, Johann Vogel.

In Milan, Oliveira with the heavy task to make forget Andriï Chevtchenko, left with Chelsea. Its season at Rossoneri is difficult, since it does not make that 22 appearances in Serie has and does not take part in the finale of the Ligue of the Champions.

Not having been able to impose itself in the plethoric manpower of Milan AC, it turns over at the end of the season to Spain, with the Real Saragossa precisely, where it is lent for one season.

Course in Seleção

Olivera makes its beginnings in team of Catalan Brazil against XI on May 25th, 2004, registering a goal. However, this match is not regarded as a friendly match " officiel" by the FIFA. Its first cape is thus officially gained only during the Copa America 2004. Brazil gains Copa America and Olivera registers a goal in quarterfinal vis-a-vis the Mexico.

Oliveira became then a regular holder of the Brazilian team, as a cover for Ronaldo, Adriano and Robinho. It takes part in the Coupe of the Confederations 2005 being held in Germany, that its team gains. It is not retained to take part in the World cup 2006, following a wound. It then spends a year without being called in national selection. He is finally recalled by the new trainer Dunga on November 15th, 2006 for a friendly match vis-a-vis the Suisse.
