Ria-Sirach

Ria-Sirach (Catalan: Rià I Cirac ) is a common French, located in the department of the the Eastern Pyrenees and the area Languedoc-Roussillon.

Its inhabitants is called Rianencs, Siracaires or Ria-Sirachois.

Guifred el Pelut

Historically, Guifred el Pelut, born about year 840, in Fons Cooperta, - Fontcouverte-, in the " Pagus Narbonense" , " villam" conceded, before 814, by the Emperor Charles I the Large one, in Borrell, and confirmed, by the Emperor Louis I Piles, on October 14th, 829, in Tibur, its " … fideli nostro Suniefredo quandam juris nostri, quae is in Pago Narbonense, cujus vocabulum is Fons Cooperta… " , was the son junior by Suniefred and Ermessende.

Died of Solomon, Count d' Urgell, of Cerdagne and Conflent, in recognition with his valiancy and his fidelity with the Carolingian dynasty, Charles II the Bald person, King de Francie, granted to him, into 870, the Counties of Urgell and Cerdagne and invests, in the same way, his brother, Miron the Old man, in the County of Conflent.

Consequently, in possession of the capacity, of the authority of command and the legal decisions on the jurisdictions which had been allocated to him by firmness and royal resolution, - Charles II the Bald person becoming Empereur of Occident only into 875 after the disappearance of Louis II the Young person, too being with narrow in his territories, exceeding his rights on the Counties bordering managed by Bernat II, Marquis de Gothie, asserting himself on him, ridiculing his government, it engaged in interior repopulation of the grounds comtales of Barcelona and Gérone which had been devastated and quasi dismantled its inhabitants, at the time of the revolt of Aisson and Guillelmon, - wire of Béra I, in 826, and the incursion of Abũ Marwãn and its armies sarrasines, in 827.

At the time, the succession of the Counties of Conflent and Roussillon, in agreement with the capitulary one of Quierzy, being vacant by male absence of heir, it was made some grant the grounds by Charles II the Bald person, King de France and Empereur of Occident.
