Rhoipteleaceae

The family of the Rhoiptéléacées is a family of plants Dicotylédone S which includes/understands only one species, Rhoiptelea chiliantha .

They are Arbre S with sheets composed, alternate, null and void, with resinous glands, inflorescences axillaires presenting female flowers hermaphrodites to the center and flowers on the circumference. They are trees of the subtropics to tropical originating in the south of the China and Vietnam.

The phylogenetic classification of APG (1998) locates this family in the order of the Fagales . In Classification APG II (2003) this family is optional: this species can also be to include in the Juglandacées.
