Synopsis

This series puts in scene a unit of criminal police force at Vienna and in particular the infallible duet of an inspector and a German Berger, Rex.

Comments

The two dogs which endorsed the role of Rex are Reginald von Ravenhorst (1994-1997) and Rhett Butler (1997-2004). All two were pulled by Teresa Ann Miller. Rhett Butler played besides the part of Rex pup in (the childhood of Rex) in 1997.

Here is a source for seasons 12 and 13 (wien.orf.at/stories/195186/ - 32k) The series stopped after the tenth season in Austria. It would seem however that new episodes are in the course of production in Italy, which would constitute the eleventh season. It is known that this season will be diffused in France in 2008. Namely that the Eleventh season will count new 11 episodes and that 13 other episodes are being prepared for a possible twelfth season. To note that the new actors of season 11 are: Kaspar Caparroni and Denise Zich. Martin Weinek and Gerhard Zemann preserve their appointed roles.
