Revolutionary justice in Nantes

The revolutionary justice with Nantes appeared in several forms: the revolutionary Tribunal created in 1793 was first of all called extraordinary criminal Tribunal, then the revolutionary on April 18th, 1793 Tribunal. The most intense working life of the revolutionary tribunal of Nantes is placed during the stay of Jean-Baptiste Carrier. It is also time when it is shown most pitiless: hundred fifty-eight marked death sentences in less than one hundred days.
