Revlon

Revlon is a mark of Cosmétique S and perfumes created in 1930 by Charles Revson, his brother and Charles Lachman (a friend chemist). Mr. Revson took again the “L” of Mr. Lachman for the name of the mark (Revlon).

Very quickly the mark is a real success while launching the opaque coloured first long behavior. In 1940 is born the idea to coordinate the colors of nail varnish and those of the lipsticks. In 1950 the colors of nail varnish are matched with the American collections of mode. In 1960 Revlon launches out on the international market. The mark is known to convey the image of the “American look” by means of television campaigns.

1970, the range of perfume, Charlie have a spectacular success. In 1975 the mark is rewarded while being the first world fragrance. Revlon then became synonymous with prestige thanks to a strong communication.

Since April 2007, it is Jessica Alba who is the new egery of the mark.
