Revest-the-Water

Geography

Revest Water is a commune of the department of the VAr. This commune is located at the North of Toulon (on which it is bordering), and from which it is separated by the Mount-Faron (alt. : 584m). Its communes bordering are (of West in Is): Toulon, Evenos, Signs, Sollies-Toucas, Sollies-City and Valetta Of the VAr.

History

The old village was built on the rock, with the foot of the tower known as medieval. Directed mainly towards the west and the south, the houses are rolled up around four streets connected between them by cross-pieces of an obsolete but authentic charm.

Located at the doors of the town of Toulon, Revest counts approximately 3800 inhabitants. It is a village of Provence typical which extends on a surface from 2.400 hectares mainly protected nature.

Dominating the valley of Dardennes, Revest, separated from the sea by the Mount Faron (584 m of altitude) rayon towards the Mount Caume (804 m of altitude), the Large Cape and Coudon.
