Reverberation (optical)
In Optical, the reverberation is a physical phenomenon by which a surface renvoit part of the luminous rays which reaches it. The various types of surfaces have a clean index of reverberation which corresponds totheir rate of reverberation - i.e. to the share of the received rays which are considered.
In a simple way, one can consider that the clearer one surface is (within the meaning of the spectrum of the colors), the more his index of reverberation is strong. The Neige is a surface which renvoit 80 to 90% of the radiation. Contrary, the Water and the Herbe have low rates of reverberation, on average 5% and 3% respectively. The Sand, with a rate close to 15%, supports the Bronzage without causing fast burns as can do it snow.
