Retinoid X receptor , or RXR , is a protein of the family of the nuclear receiving ligand-dependant activated by its association with the Récepteur on the retinoic acid (or Vitamine has).

Functions
RXR behaves like a Facteur of transcription for certain genes after fixing on their promoter in particular in the case of the synthesis of ostéopontine (role in fixing of calcium on the bones).
