Reset (group)

Reset is a group of Québécois music.

The original members of the group were:
- Pierre Herdsman with the song,
- Philippe Jolicoeur with the guitar,
- Charles-Andre " Chuck" Comeau with the battery,
- Jean-Sebastien Boileau with low.
They recorded a cassette demonstration in 1995 called concern.

In 1997, they recorded their first complete album, No Worries , with the Studio Morin-Heights. Then Charles-Andre Comeau leaves the group (a little before the recording the 2nd album), bus of the conflicts are created between him and groups it but especially with Pierre, to devote itself to its studies with the Université McGill, where he studies the right. On the second album Pierre will dedicate the song Friend to Chuck.

In 1999, Pierre replaces Jean-Sebastien with low since this one leaves the group to be devoted to its studies. Then shortly after the realization of No limit in 2000, Pierre leaves the group in his turn because it is not satisfied in the way in which this last evolved/moved. It created little time after a new group with Chuck. It is David Desrosiers, a friend of the group which replaces Pierre, to leave after 6 months to join Pierre and Chuck: Simple plan.

In 2004, Reset returns with a third album entitled Radioactive . The album was produced, carried out and mixed by Philippe Jolicoeur. In 2005, Martin Gendrau (battery) and Claude Plamondon (low guitar and song) united in Philippe Jolicoeur to become the new formation of Reset.

November 14th, 2006, the former members of Reset playing now with Simple plan decide to leave a compilation the first two albums of Reset entitled " No Worries/No limit"
