Reserve fauna of Dja

The reserve of fauna of Dja is a faunal reserve located at the Cameroun.

It is registered with the world heritage of UNESCO since 1987 thanks to the diversification of the species present in the park and with the presence of species in the process of disappearance.

The reserve of fauna of Dja is one of the vastest Forêt S wet of Africa and best protected, most of its surface remaining virgin. Practically encircled by the river Dja, which forms the natural limit of it, the reserve is especially remarkable for its Biodiversité and the very large variety of the Primate S which live there. It shelters 107 species of Mammifère S, of which five are threatened of extinction.
