Reserve Rio das Furnas
The reserve Rio das Furnas is a Natural reserve Brésil ienne. It is located in the southern area, in the State of Santa Catarina. It covers 28 ha, located in a Canyon, on the territory of the municipality of Alfredo Wagner, not far from the top of the Alto da Boa Vista and of the Serra back Faxinais .
This area is the place where many River of the State takes their source (Rio Itajaí-Mirim, Rio Itajaí C Sul, Rio Cubatão C Sul, Rio Tubarão and Rio Tijucas). The ecosystem dominating is the Atlantic Forêt. The main activities of the reserves are the Scientific research, ecological education , the observation of the Oiseau X and the scientific Tourisme.
