Research institute and of information socio-economic

the Research institute and of information socio-economic (IRIS), a non-profit-making, independent research institute and progressist, was founded with the autumn 2000. The IRIS is based with Montreal.

Its mission is double. On the one hand, the institute produces research, booklets and folders on the great socio-economic stakes of hour (taxation, poverty, universalization, privatizations, etc) in order to offer a against-speech to the prospect néolibérale. In addition, the researchers offer their services the Community groups, to ecologists groups and to trade unions for specific research projects or the drafting of memories.
