The Research center in astronomy, astrophysics and geophysical , or ARCAA , is a astronomical, known Observatoire formerly like the Observatory of Algiers. It is created in 1985, inheriting the astronomical Observatory of Bouzareah, built in 1890, and of the Institute of Physique of the Earth of Algiers going back to 1931.
