Republic of Komis

The République komy is a republic of the Federation of Russia. The Komis, indigenous people, constitute approximately 25% of the population. The republic is bordered in the west by the Oblast d' Arkhangelsk, in north the Nenetsie, the east the autonomous districts of Iamalo-Nenets and Khantis-Mansis and with the south the oblasty of Kirov, Perm, and of Sverdlovsk and the autonomous district of the Komis-Permiaks.
