Replenisher

The replenisher is a clever instrument invented by Lord Kelvin to produce high voltages electrostatic S

without Frottement (except a short contact with a round metal blade) with each half-turn)
neither recourse to the cumbersome devices of wheels out of glass of the Induction machines
nor dress comes tiresome from discharge in an object charged inside a metal cylinder isolated

Its invention, by its principle, functions a little like a kind of Magnéto, but using the transfers of electrostatic load instead of the electromagnetic Induction.
