Repeated sequence
In the sequences DNA one distinguishes mainly two types of repeated sequences :
- of the localized sequences repeated out of tandem:
-
*séquences
Microsatellite S: sequences from 2 to 10 Pb are repeated a great number of times
*séquences Minisatellite S: sequences from 10 to 100 Pb are repeated a great number of times *grands blocks of satellite DNA (approximately 10% of the human Génome): blocks going until ten mégabases, localized very mainly on the level of the Centromère S and Télomère S - of the dispersed repeated sequences (at the Vertebrate ), connected sequences, distributed on the whole of the Genome:
-
*séquences SINE (Shorts INterspersed Elements): their size varies between 130 and 500 Pb, most abundant at the man are the sequences ALUMINUM *séquences LINE (Long INterspersed Elements): their size is of some Kilobase S or more precisely 6000 to 7000 Pb.
