Reopen (river)
The Rouvre is a river Norman of the Département of the Flowering ash, affluent of the Orne.
The river is born between Ferté-Macé and Motor-with-the Orne, in the Pays of Houlme, runs in north-western direction to join the Suisse Norman which it crosses in the last fifteen kilometers of its course, around Bréel. Reopens throws itself then in the Flowering ash between the stopping of Saint-Philbert-on-Flowering ash and Bridge-with Ouilly, with Rouvrou.
This last part is carried out in small timbered throats, in the valley of Rouvre, and give place to long rapids which return it pratiquable for the Canoe-kayak when the water level allows it. The throats constitute also an important tourist place of Switzerland Norman, with in particular the view-point of the Roche of Oëtre, located at 100 meters with the top of those.
