Synthesis of its work on Goths

Brought in a transverse way to recall the history of the Goths from Scandinavia, while passing by the Dacie where emerges the hunnic Empire, until their arrival in Bordeaux before the fall of the Roman Empire, it delivers in its last work a synthesis including/understanding the recent discoveries obtained since the archaeological Cultures in Central Europe, and a vision of the motivations of the Germanic people in migration in the Roman Empire.

This work puts an end to the vision of scarecrow " barbares" transmitted throughout the Modern history by the relecteurs of the annalists of Latin culture of the time of the invasions.

The description of the terms structuring the Gothic Company, authority precise of the Germanic Civilization emanating of the Scandinavian culture at the 2nd century, in particular makes it possible to include/understand the transition from the Social organization inherited the world Latinized the Feudal system in Occident. According to it, the rites of the liege Hommage do not come from the Francs but from Goths, integrated by a council into Orleans after Vouillé.

A precise description of the religious quarrels makes it possible to better seize the difficult argument which took place at the time of the Arianisme, the version of the Bible in Gotique conferring on these people a faith as strong as the faith nicéenne. It thus introduces the term of Homéisme to distinguish this confession, whose distinction comes from a term badly translated from the Greek to Latin, houmeous : of major importance since interpretation of the term rises the quarrel on divine nature from the Holy Trinity. The book is completed on the disappearance of the line Balthe of the " Goths royaux" , with the capacity symbolized by the sword Tervinge, that which guided the column of Alaric towards the fine of ground European: the Kingdom Visigoth, objective of the migrations, is founded.
