Pierre Blet tells the business lengthily, in particular: " “on June 12th, 1625, the deputies of the clergy joined together with Large the Augustins since fifteen days heard the report/ratio that addressed Rene to them de Rieux, bishop of Leon, on the intrigues of which it had been victim on behalf of a certain Etienne Louytre, senior of the chapter of Nantes and doctor of Sorbonne. Being authorized of an apostolic subdelegation, this simple priest had assumed the right to give orders to the prelate, to threaten it of censures and finally to declare it prohibited entry of his church and to throw the interdict on his cathedral. These facts were related to the introduction of the Carmelite nuns in France "
