Rene de Bueil
Rene de Bueil , Royal Cupbearer of France, Count de Sancerre (1626-1640), count de Marans, baron de Gençay and baron de Châteaux, wire of Jean VII of Bueil and Anne of Daillon.
Rene is baron of Gençay in 1599. In 1626, Jean of the Door having accompanied the Countess by Sancerre at her entry and having claimed the privileges of its load, Rene de Bueil , évinça by this distinction, more subtle than chivalrous, than it was not as countess whom his noble wife had made this entry. Rene marries, the August 22nd 1626, Francoise de Montalais, girl of Mathurin de Montalais, lord of Chambellay and Wheat-producing, Viscount of Guer, baron of Plessis de Kaër, and Anne Voyer.
He would have sold the Comté of Sancerre to Henri II, prince de Condé, in 1637.
