Rene Tern
Rene Sterne (born Rene Vanpijperzeele) is a Belgian author of Cartoon, born the August 25th 1952 with Jemappes in Belgium and deceased the November 15th 2006 with the Grenadian Iles where he lived with his family since 1992.
After its higher learning, it becomes initially teaching. Then it gives up and launches out in the cartoon to live " other chose". He is advised in this field by his wife Chantal De Spiegeleer. He is the draftsman and scenario writer of the series Adler which he initially signs of the pseudonym of “Nemo”, then under the final name of Rene Sterne (the tern is a swallow of the seas).
Its clear line and the diagram of its drawings does not attenuate the serious one that it implements in each one of its albums. That will be worth to him despite everything a light polemic at the time of the exit of the album Gulag for its vision too far away from reality and a comparison considered to be awkward between the Nazi camps and Communists.
Parallel to band-drawn, it signs a collection of news as well as a novel of adventure of Adler: Rio Cheer .
He also worked, in collaboration with Jean Van Hamme, with the creation of a new album of the adventures of Blake and Mortimer: Curse of the thirty sums of money .
