Rene Schwaller de Lubicz

Rene Adolphe Schwaller de Lubicz (born on December 7th, 1887 with Asnières - died in 1961) is a Egyptologist and a esoterist French, specialist in the Symbolique in old Egypt. He is the son of an Alsatian pharmacist of Swiss origin, but he is French as regards his mother, Marie Bernard. It is the poet Oscar Venceslas de Lubicz Milosz who makes Rene Schwaller knight according to the Lithuanian rite. It can thus add the mark of nobility “of Lubicz” to its name of birth.
