Rene Pétillon

Rene Pétillon known as Pétillon , is an author of cartoons born the December 12th 1945 with Lesneven (Finistere).

Biography

Autodidact, it starts by being published in the review Planet in 1968 and until in 1972 in various magazines like Mad the , Plexus , etc It enters then to the newspaper Pilote . In 1974, it creates the inspector Jack Micrometer caliper (a kind of inspector Columbo who would not make seeming); this one quickly becomes its character fetish and will appear in the synopsis of several magazines like the Echo of savannas , Pilote , Télérama , VSD .
For the draftsman Yves Got, it will scénarisera the black Baron in the daily newspaper the Morning of Paris . It thus has a course more than atypical, not hesitating, with the liking of opportunities, to collaborate with magazines, sometimes serious, sometimes more provocants. This without never losing its personal, refined and elegant style, but however without concession. thus it enters little by little the tuck pattern, while at the same time it really had not made any before the Nineties. Thus, in 1993 it starts to draw for Duck connected .

Rene Pétillon is Grand Prix of the town of Angouleme in 1989 and prize winner of the Grand Prix of humor cow to the International fair of the tuck pattern and humor of Saint-Just-the-Martel 2002.
