Anecdotes
- It is him, with Emile Vuillermoz which had the idea of an international festival of the cinema in France to compete with the Mostra of Venice too politicized with its taste (under the influence of Mussolini). It subjects the idea to Jean Zay, Minister for the state education of the time, which finds the idea interesting, from there was born the Cannes festival.
