Rene Herbst
Rene Herbst born with Paris in 1891 and died in Paris in 1982, is a French architect-decorator.
Cofounder of the Union of the modern Artists (UAM), it was of 1921 with 1961, one of the leaders of the modern arts; he preaches the industrialization of furniture from the social point of view in order to give the access to art to the greatest number. defender of furniture out of metal and glass, creator of windows of exposure and displays, inventor of the seat “Elastic cord”.
