Rene Corbet
Rene Corbet (born on June 25th, 1973 with Victoriaville city of the Quebec with the Canada) is a player of professional Hockey.
Career in club
It begins its career while playing in the Ligue from hockey major junior of Quebec with the Voltigeurs of Drummondville in 1990. Named in the standard team of the recruits of the LHJMQ, it also receives the Trophée Michel Bergeron of the best offensive recruit of the year.At the conclusion of this season, it takes part in the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey and is chosen by the Nordiques of Quebec in second round (24e choice). It continues all the same still two seasons in the LHJMQ time to gain experiment and other trophies of the league junior. Thus, it gains into 1992-193 the honor to be named in the Canadian standard team of the season and also gains the Trophée Jean Béliveau as better a pointer of the LHJMQ - with 148 points - and the Coupe Telus of the best offensive player of the season.
It makes then its beginnings with the Scandinavian ones but will also play as of 1993 in the American Ligue of hockey with the Aces de Cornwall. At the end of the season, it still makes speak about him while being indicated better recruit of the season and gaining the Trophée Dudley “Red” Garret. During two seasons, it spends more time with the frankness from the LAH than with that of the LNH but in 1995, whereas the Scandinavian ones moved with Denver and name Avalanche of Colorado, it reverses the tendency and gains the Coupe Stanley.
Following this season, it definitively integrates the manpower of the frankness from the LNH and it gains the Trophée President of best equips with the regular season. In 1999, it joined the Flames of Calgary in company of Wade Belak, Robyn Regehr and of a choice of fishing out and in return of Theoren Fleury and Chris Dingman.
In March 2000, it leaves the Flames to join the Penguins de Pittsburgh. It joined then the team of the Pennsylvania with Tyler Moss in return of Brad Werenka.
In 2001, it leaves the North America to join the Europe and the German championship (Deutsche Eishockey-Liga). It signs then with the team of Adler Mannheim of which it always forms part.
