Rene Aubry

Rene Aubry is a Compositeur French born in 1956 privileging the cords and the voices, more secondarily the piano, the keyboards various (synthetizers etc) and the percussions. Its melody compositions, often involving, have a recognizable writing.

Most of its musics, known as then functional, were created for spectacles, then largely used by certain audio-visual mediums for credits or musics of accompaniment.

In 1978, it meets the American Chorégraphe Carolyn Carlson with which it collaborates still regularly and for which it already wrote many works, of which some published in:

  • Steppe (1990)
  • After the rain (1993)
  • Signs (1997) (victory with the Victories of the classical music and the jazz in 1998).

One of its most known titles, drawn from Steppe , was used as credits with the television program Bas the masks , animated and produced by Mireille Dumas with the beginning of the year 1990. Its title Passo , extracted from After the rain , is the credits of the series Aimer to live in France carried out by TF1 (37 ép. of 52 min.). One of its compositions will be used in 1995 for the code of the televised official countryside of the presidential elections.

He collaborates regularly for the music of the spectacles of the company of Philippe Genty:

It carried out the music of several films:

  • the Revolt of the children (1989)
  • Killer Kid (1994)
  • Hefty fellow Princess (2004).

Recently of years it occurs regularly on scene and continues its nonfunctional creations.
