Rene Arcos
Rene Arcos , born in 1881 with Clichy and deceased in 1959, was a French poet and novelist. It meets Georges Duhamel in 1906 with which it takes part in the experiment of " the Abbey of Creteil ". The abbey, villa in edge of the Marne opened to the artists, ceases its activities as of 1908. It settles in Paris and gives conferences through all Europe on poetry.
Reformed, it is the correspondent war of the Chicago Daily News during the Great War. It founds in 1918 the editions of the sand glass with Geneva then takes part with Romain Roland in the foundation of the Review Europe of which there remains editor association until in 1940.
