RenderMan
RenderMan defines a specification of communication between a Modeleur 3D and a Moteur of made 3D, which makes it possible to use compatible tools freely, very many, especially in Free software.
PRMan is a Moteur of returned. It was created by Pixar Animation Studios. PRMan allows to have returned photorealists. This software is used by the largest studios of post-production (ILM, digital Weta…). There also exists of other implementations of RenderMan: Air, 3DLight, BMRT…
