Renault Trafic is the name used by Renault to indicate its light utility model.

Current model

The current model is resulting from an agreement of production between Renault and General Motors. It is sold under following names:

• Renault Traffic,
• Nissan Primastar,
• Opel Vivaro,
• Vauxhall Vivaro in the United Kingdom.

The design was conceived by Renault and the production is carried out in factories GM from Luton (RU) and Nissan of Barcelona (Esp)

Old model

The first generation of Traffic was launched in 1981 to replace growing old the Renault Estafette.

Based on a platform of Renault 18/Renault 20, it modernized the concept of light utility with a clear, roomy and comfortable cockpit, separated from the motorization.
