Renault Sport
Renault Sport is the sporting branch of the French automobile mark Renault. It prepares all the sporting models of the mark like its Formule 1, until in 2002. This F1 branch will then be managed by Renault F1 TEAM.

Cars
The sporting variations of maque Renault carry initials RS (for Renault Sport), like the Clio RS or the Mégane RS. Since 2005, and the first title of Renault as a world champion of Formula 1, this denomination changed to become " Renault F1 Team". However, the design is always entrusted to Renault Sport.

Dakar
The Marreau brothers
1979: take part with a Renault 4 and finish 5e1980: finish 3rd, always with Renault 4
1982: take part with a prototype of Renault 20 (with turbo engine and 4 driving wheels) and gain the race
Schlesser
In 1999 and 2000, Renault Sport was motor mechanic of the Schlesser stable. It provided for this reason engines for its buggies, as well as a platform of Renault Kangoo. Jean-Louis Schlesser gained the race there these two years.
Mans
Renault took part in the Mans in the Seventies. Alpine Renault A443 reached 380 km/h in 1978, which makes the fastest Renault of it to date.
