The version biturbo, 4 X 4, rim S of 17 ' was manufactured 1994 to 1996 and has the characteristic to be the most confidential car Renault general public most powerful, most expensive and of all the history of the mark.

Reliability

The Gear box is fragile.

The Pneu S tend to wear inside, as well with before with the back.

The performances are limited, except on the models gasoline 2.5 20v, 3.0 24v and Biturbo. Consumption is raised enough and the behavior a little lump (except on the models equipped with the electronic suspension).

In Turbo diesel, the 2.5 dT (of Sofim type) can suffer from problems of cylinder head, distribution and cylinder head gaskets. The 2.1 dT are famous for their oil consumption, without much consequence. The 2.2 dT are affected by no serious problem.

In addition, the automatic boxes can suffer from brittleness, particularly on the models produced before the restylage.

Lastly, the replacement cost of the shock absorbers on the models equipped with the electronic suspension is prohibitory.
